When Families Feel Lost: Why I Started Care Harmony Consulting

Caring for an ageing loved one is one of the most sacred, yet overwhelming responsibilities
a family can face.
As a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of leadership in care homes across the UK and
Ireland, I’ve seen firsthand how uncertainty and confusion can weigh heavily on families.
I started Care Harmony Consulting because too many people were asking the same
question:
“Where do we even begin?”
They were trying to juggle work, children, finances—and now Mum or Dad needed more
care. Some had never heard of Continuing Healthcare. Others didn’t know their loved one
could be supported at home. Many didn’t understand what options they had… until it was
too late.
Care Harmony was born from a deep desire to bring clarity, confidence, and calm into this
space.
What makes this different?
This is not just another agency or placement service.
It’s independent, nurse-led guidance—tailored to you.
Whether you're exploring care home options, planning to keep your parent at home, or
simply feeling unsure of your next step, I’m here to walk with you. No judgement. No
pressure. Just informed, compassionate advice.
When you understand your options, you can make decisions with peace,no
panic.
If you're caring for an elderly loved one and feeling stuck or unsure, don’t do it alone.
